Hi! Thank you for visiting YHPC’s site. I’ve been a lifelong pet owner, and for the past fifteen years, I’ve been in the telecom and technology sector, working for Fortune 500 companies in sales and marketing. Frequently I traveled for work which meant leaving my two dogs, Keiko, an 85 lb Akita and Gypsy, a 90 lb rescue, in the care of others. Leaving always caused stress and anxiety because I did not know who to trust to care for them regularly. During trips, I would wonder when the person arrived/departed and if my dogs were ok. Given my background, I was aware of the technology that could help answer those questions and decided to create Your Home Pet Care. I’m glad you found us, and I hope you give us a try!

Hello, I’m Ang. I was born and raised in Arkansas, and I am the baby of five. I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. During college, I was a student athletic trainer for the women’s department working with the track, basketball, and soccer teams. I have a beautiful 65 lb rescue named Rob Roy and he’s a bull terrier mix with gigantic ears! We love to spend our days playing fetch and jogging although he hates the cold and rain. Due to this, he has a large collection of winter sweaters and raincoats! My top three favorites are Arkansas Razorbacks (LOVE), basketball, and young adult fiction novels.

Animals have always been a part of my life and are their well-being is the driving factor behind my passion for working with them. I started working with pets such dogs, cats, reptiles, rabbits, and birds, but my interest for exotic animals grew when I received a degree in Biology from TWU and became the Director of Animal care for a wildlife ranch. I cared for a wide variety of animals; such as primates, marsupials, bears, zebras, and much more various species. Currently, I spend my free time volunteering at the Dallas Zoo because there is no such thing as too much animal time in my world! My passion lies within my main objectives and goals as a caregiver for animals: giving them a voice, ensuring their safety and well-being, and brightening their day. As a pet owner, you can rest easy when you’re away knowing your animal is under the care of an experienced animal caretaker with the ability to read your pet’s wants and needs, while also addressing medical or behavioral cues. I’m active, energetic, experienced, and love enrichment based play, so I will give your pet the activity it needs. My animals are my babies, and I will treat yours with the same love and attention.
